Worth every penny in an emergency.

Just finished fawning over this kit. I’ve always had my own homemade outdoor/bugout kits, but this kit really works perfectly for me to the point I sent one immediately to my son who’s a huge backcountry backpacker thru the Teton Range and beyond, and very aware of weight to usage, I think he’ll find this kit worth the extra few ounces since they’re many miles from trailhead, let alone a “road”. This unit is supplied with a multitude of features purely designed for that kind of activity. Big thumbs up from me.

This kit focuses on the essentials with quite a few things you'd normally have to buy separately to 'upgrade' similar field kits. There's plenty of room to add some extra bandages, moleskin, common single-use meds, alcohol pads and extra gloves to make it a common "ouch pouch" as well. Now throw in a CPR face shield, smaller Quick Clot bandages, irrigation syringe, plastic film for chest wounds, emergency blanket and some tampons for GSW are all one really needs to update this to a well-rounded range FAK and car EDC with a small footprint.

Great kit, but toss in a few extra items for minor emergencies.

Great kit (good value for the money). If someone has a major injury, this is a great kit. It does not contain some of the small things you'd expect in a first aid kit, so make sure to toss a few small bandages and antibiotic ointment in the kit (there is room for them). We ride in a group and everyone has one in their bike so we can rescue anyone who goes down.
